David Agger
David Agger has more than 19 years of experience in finance and real estate. He currently manages an investment partnership, Metropolis Partners, Inc., offering direct investment and financial structuring in the real estate industry. He has a longstanding record of community service in the Bay Area where he currently serves as Trustee and member of the Investment and Finance Committees of numerous non profit organizations.
Don Detampel
Don Detampel brings almost 30 years of experience in hosting, network infrastructure and telecommunications, during which time he guided technically sophisticated young companies through their growth stages into stable, successful, and mature companies. Don currently serves on the boards of directors of Masergy Communications and Peer 1 Networks. Most recently, he served as Executive Chairman of New Global Telecom, a leading provider of wholesale VoIP solutions that was sold to Comcast in March of 2010. Previously, Don served as President and CEO of Raindance Communications, a publicly traded multimedia conferencing company that was sold to West Corporation in 2005. Earlier in his career Don served as Chairman and CEO of OneSecure, Inc., a network security products company that was acquired by NetScreen in 2002. Don has also served as President for GlobalCenter, Frontier Communications' Enhanced Services Group, ConferTech International, LinkUSA Corporation, and Schneider Communications. He is a former director on the boards of Inflow, Voyant Technologies, Norlight Telecommunications, Global Crossing Ventures, and Schneider Logistics.
Don graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Norbert College with Bachelor of Science degrees in mathematics and physics.
Jonathan Heiliger
There are few people in the industry who understand the business and technical complexities of Internet networks and data centers as well as Jonathan. He is a true Internet pioneer, who in 1997 was named one of 25 "Unsung Heroes of the Internet" by Ziff Davis for architecting the network backbone and data center infrastructure that delivered millions of people to highly trafficked websites such as Yahoo!, CNN, E-Trade, and hundreds more. In 1999 he was named "Innovator of the Year" by MIT Technology Review.
Jonathan is currently the Vice President of Technical Operations at Facebook where he oversees global technology operations, site architecture, and IT. In addition, he leads the development of systems enabling Facebook's computing infrastructure to scale reliably. Prior to Facebook, Jonathan was an advisor on Internet infrastructure and software development to Sequoia Capital portfolio companies Bubble Motion, Stardoll, and YouTube. Previously, he led Web engineering for Walmart.com, a unit of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., where he was responsible for infrastructure and systems from the data center floor to the application platform. Jonathan also spent a number of years at Loudcloud (Opsware) where he was the Chief Operating Officer and managed all functions of product operations. Previous to that position, he was the Chief Technology Officer for Frontier GlobalCenter (Global Crossing) where he built the Web hosting and network businesses and later founded the corporate venture capital group.
Bernard Osher
Bernard Osher, a patron of education and the arts, created the Bernard Osher Foundation (www.osherfoundation.org) in 1977, which seeks to improve quality of life through support for higher education and the arts. A collector of American paintings of the mid-19th to the mid-20th centuries, Mr. Osher purchased the fine art auction house of Butterfield & Butterfield in 1970 and oversaw its growth to become the fourth largest auction house in the world. In 1999, he sold the company to eBay. Mr. Osher is a founding director of World Savings, the second largest savings institution in the United States, which was recently merged with Wachovia Corporation.
Paul Santinelli
Paul Santinelli recently became part of the team at North Bridge Venture Partners, focusing on investments in Open Source, software, security, and communications areas. Previously, he served as director of Red Hat Network and was responsible for product definition, strategy, engineering, product management, marketing and lifecycle management for the company's flagship software services offering. Paul also served as the director of global information systems and technology during his tenure at Red Hat.
Prior to Red Hat, Paul was founder and CEO of NOCpulse, Inc., a Silicon Valley software startup focused on delivering the next generation enterprise systems management platform. NOCpulse was acquired by Red Hat in October 2002. While at NOCpulse, Paul was nominated for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2002. Before founding NOCpulse, Paul was chief technology officer of Global Center and VP of technology for Global Crossing, a telecommunications company that built and operated the world's first independent global fiber optic network. During the past 12 years, Paul has held various engineering, product management and marketing positions in companies including Red Hat, IBM, Lotus Development and Compuware.
Prior to North Bridge, Paul served on the advisory boards of Arrowpoint Communications (acquired by Cisco), Inflow, Kiva Software (acquired by Netscape), Mobility.net (acquired by Software.com) and One Secure (acquired by Netscreen).
Paul received a Bachelor of Science degree from Emerson College in Boston.
Seth B. Taube, CFA
Mr. Taube is a Managing Member of Medley Capital and is the Senior Portfolio Manager of Medley Opportunity Fund. Prior to forming Medley Capital, Mr. Taube was a Partner with Columbus Nova and Senior Portfolio Manager for the Columbus Nova Opportunity Fund. Before Columbus Nova, he co-founded T3 Group, a principal and advisory firm focused on distressed asset and credit investments. Prior to T3, Mr. Taube worked with Griphon Capital Management, serving as Managing Director of the firm's private investment activities. Before Griphon, Mr. Taube was a Vice President with Tiger Management, and held positions with Morgan Stanley & Co. in the Investment Banking and Institutional Equity Divisions.
Mr. Taube received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College, an M.Litt. in Economics from St. Andrew's University in Great Britain, where he was a Rotary Foundation Fellow, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Jeff Williams
Jeff Williams is the Vice President of Sales, North America at IronPort, a Cisco Company. His responsibilities include leading IronPort's North American sales, systems engineering, channels, renewals, and operational support teams. Under his leadership, IronPort's business has experienced an impressive 135% compound annual growth rate and was recently acquired by Cisco for $830 million.
Jeff has a strong background and is a demonstrated leader in sales. Before joining IronPort, Jeff was Vice President of Sales at IntruVert Networks, which was acquired by McAfee. Prior to IntruVert, he worked as Vice President of Sales for Abeona Networks; a Kleiner Perkins and Sequoia Capital funded company, and GlobalCenter, where he led the sales organization through its $6.5 billion merger with Exodus Communications.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from California State University at Chico.
Jon Schroeder
Mr. Schroeder is a Vice President with Medley Capital and supports transaction origination and execution for the Medley Opportunity Fund. Prior to joining Medley, Mr. Schroeder worked in several positions at General Electric Capital Corporation, most recently as an Assistant Vice President in the Global Sponsor Finance Group, underwriting hundreds of LBO transactions in a wide variety of industries, in transactions ranging from $30M to $500M.
Mr. Schroeder is a graduate of the Financial Management Program at GE Capital, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Investment Banking from the Grainger School of Business at the University of Wisconsin.
